Your first redemption

Every first redemption on Vouch is reviewed by a person before the gift card is issued. This page explains the minimum, the review, and how to make it quick — because a rule you can't read isn't a rule, it's a trap.

The rules

Minimum: 1,000 credits
Your first redemption is from 1,000 approved credits (≈ £10 in gift cards). Only approved, redemption-eligible credits count — pending credits and locked welcome credits never do. After your first, the minimum drops to 500 credits.
A human review
The redemption enters Under review and a member of our team checks it — usually within 24 hours, always within 72. We email you the moment it's approved; no action is needed from you in between.
A conservative brand list
First redemptions draw from a smaller brand list (Amazon UK and a handful of others). The full catalogue opens after your first redemption completes.
Elevated-risk accounts
If our automated checks flag an account as elevated risk, the first minimum is 1,500 credits instead. That isn't an accusation — cautious checks are sometimes cautious about the wrong people. Keep earning normally, or contact support and a human will look at it.

Why the minimum is £10

A higher first threshold means that by the time you redeem, your account has a real history of approved, partner-confirmed activity — which is what lets one calm human check stand in for the constant suspicion most platforms apply to everyone, forever. It also keeps the economics of the Welcome Track sustainable, which is how the £6 stays funded.

Why a person reviews it

The first redemption is the single moment fraud has to pass through on any rewards platform. Checking it by hand — once — is how we keep Vouch clean without treating every member like a suspect afterwards: later redemptions are typically issued within minutes. We'd rather you wait a stated day once than be quietly distrusted for the life of your account.

What speeds the review up

Three things, all ordinary: a verified email, activity completed without a VPN or ad blocker interfering with tracking, and an account history free of reversed completions. Most reviews on accounts like that complete the same day. If we do need anything from you, we'll email — we never leave a redemption in review silently.

If a review goes against you

You'll be told the reason, your credits stay in your ledger, and you can appeal — a different reviewer looks, and we reverse decisions when the evidence supports it. See account safety & appeals.
